Silver Birch and Early Mist self catering holiday cottages sleep 16, and comprise Silver Mist. Consequently, Silver Mist is perfect for family gatherings and meeting up with friends!

Experience exclusive use of our beautiful indoor heated swimming pool, which has a jacuzzi and hoist. And relax in the sauna and steam room during your daily and bookable swim times. Above all, enjoy either of the two hot tubs as there's nothing better than relaxing in the warm bubbly water!

Dining in Silver Mist

Celebrate together in the huge open plan living area in Silver Birch where there are two oak dining tables to seat 8. And you can add another table and extend it to seat all your group for dining. Additionally, you can seat 12 around the extendable oak dining table in Early Mist.

Accessibility for Silver Mist

Visit England rated the accessibility in Silver Birch as M3A (for assisted wheelchair users) and Early Mist as M1 (for impaired mobility). Both cottages have V1 and H1 ratings for guests with vision and hearing impairments. Read our Accessibility Guide and find out more details.

Holiday cottage sleeps 16

Gather with your loved ones and catch up in the cosy seating areas which have a wood burner. In the cooler months we provide a basket of wood, and there's underfloor heating throughout Silver Mist to keep you warm on chillier days.

Outside space

Silver Mist has two individual enclosed gardens, each equipped with a hot tub, patio, outdoor furniture, and a barbecue. Therefore, there's room in the hot tubs for everyone in your group!

By all means park in one of the three car parking spaces directly outside Early Mist and Silver Birch. Additionally, parking is available in the main car park, and parking is free throughout the site, as is superfast WiFi.

We are located in rural Hampshire, within the South Downs National Park. Take the opportunity to discover this beautiful area and the delightful villages of the Meon Valley. Meanwhile, find out about days out and things to do locally and enjoy exploring the countryside which surrounds us.

Children are welcome

If you want to save space in the car, then reserve children's equipment to borrow during your stay. For example, we have cots, high chairs, as well as age appropriate books, toys and games available. We allocate them on a first-come, first-served basis and will place the items in your cottage prior to arrival.

Dog friendly

In short, we welcome dogs to Wallops Wood, and they receive a Doggy Welcome Hamper!

Bedrooms

Most importantly, let us know how you would like the beds made up. For example, we provide deluxe pillows and duvets and the beds are zip and lock so bedrooms can be configured as twins or superking size.

Silver Birch and Early Mist each have 4 en-suite bedrooms, sleeping 16 people in total. In Early Mist, there are 3 shower rooms and a bathroom with bath. And in Silver Birch, there are 2 accessible wet rooms, a shower room, and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Additionally, Silver Birch has an extra cloakroom.

Kitchens

Don't bring the kitchen sink! Instead, enjoy the two fully equipped kitchens with Nespresso coffee machines and complimentary capsules, Aeroccinos, ovens, microwaves, fridge/freezers (70/30), dishwashers and washer/dryers. Indeed, Silver Birch has an additional oven, fridge, dishwasher as well as a warming drawer.

Welcome Hamper

On arrival you will be greeted with a homemade Victoria sponge cake made in our farmhouse kitchen, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, butter, wine, locally brewed beer and locally produced apple juice, as well as artisan bread from local pub The Shoe.
