About Us

Behind the scenes at Wallops Woods Cottages!

We look forward to welcoming you to our cottages at Wallops Wood based in the beautiful Hampshire South Downs. Katherine’s family have been farmers here since 1938.

A farm estate which has diversified into lettings of offices and light industrial units, we have over 50 businesses on our farm estate. Small business owners thrive here in the Meon Valley. We have an artisan florist, a vegan chef making plant based ready meals and larger companies such as Bowman Ales which are brewed on site!

We decided to further diversify into holiday lets and so Wallops Wood Cottages was born. In 2013/14 we converted a 1950s farm building on the site of the Old Hambledon Racecourse to form five of the cottages. In memory of this the cottages are named after Grand National winners. The sixth cottage is a refurbished farm manager's cottage. The seventh and eighth cottages plus indoor heated pool and jacuzzi with accessible hoist, converted from a second 1950s farm building, were completed in May 2018.

We've tried to create a real home-from-home, with the emphasis on 'access for all' irrespective of age or physical ability.

We are very lucky to live and work in such a beautiful part of southern England, with so much to see and do locally year-round, and we enjoy sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm for the area with our guests.

We have won several awards over the last few years and we are very proud to have achieved so much in such a short time! In 2020 we won national Self Catering Accommodation of the Year Award Silver.

And our picture shows Katherine and Andrew Graham, owners of Wallops Wood Cottages in Hampshire, receiving The Beautiful South Gold Self Catering Accommodation of the Year Award.

We have a great team to help us, and everyone will do everything they can to make your stay comfortable, enjoyable and memorable. We look forward to welcoming you.

Perfection!

"A group of 6 of us stayed at Sundew Cottage at Wallops Wood earlier in February.

The accommodation was top class. Furnishings and accessories excellent. Everything you could need was available.
The welcome hamper was great and top quality.

Pool and hot tub an added luxury. We have booked again for next year already and one of our group is returning with family at Easter. Quite remote location, but only 10 minute drive to nearest shop/takeaway. 10/10 ."

We can't keep away!

"Just had our 5th stay at this wonderful place with friends and it never fails to impress. The lodges are beautifully equipped and welcoming. From the Homemade cake, butter, tea, coffee, and milk to the gorgeous toiletries and information packs, everything has been thought of.

We love the swimming pool and sitting in the hot tub watching the sunset over the glorious views of Hampshire is always a highlight of our mini break.

We have already rebooked for 2021!
Thank you Wallops wood."

"The best cottage stay you could ask for and great value for money extremely comfortable and relaxing

I stayed here with my family and was very impressed with the cottage, the lovely hot tub was amazing, spacious rooms lovely high ceilings, spacious pool and how close it was to the cottage, I really enjoyed everything about our stay and it was my favourite holiday.

Would highly recommend and I will definitely be returning especially when it's so close to London too! 5/5!"

Fantastic stay!

"We have had a fantastic stay at Wallops Wood and can’t thank everyone enough for their hospitality.

Just wished to inform you that we decided to depart Glenside this evening to avoid the Monday morning rush back to the city. We have had a fantastic stay at Wallops Wood and can’t thank everyone enough for their hospitality.

We were amazed following our arrival at the amount of thought that had gone in to the provisions and personal touches at the cottage. Every time we thought “No, they wouldn’t have provided that...”, there it was, tucked away in a drawer or cupboard, just waiting to be discovered! Kind regards, Rachel & family "
