We’ve some fantastic facilities on site and many wonderful places to explore around Wallops Wood and further afield while here. Take the opportunity to splash around in the indoor pool, lounge in the hot tub, enjoy the sunset with a glass of bubbly! Having a rest from work or from daily life and enjoying yourself is definitely a must for mental and physical wellbeing.

Mid-week is a great time to visit Wallops Wood, whatever the time of year. In the cooler months we’ve wood burners and underfloor heating in the cottages to keep yourself toasty warm! In the summer months you can sit outside on the patio and enjoy a drink while watching the sun go down. Whatever the weather, coming mid-week also means you get to have the pool pretty much to yourself!

We have many guests who have come here mid-week to get away from it all for a few days and explore a new area without the hustle and bustle of the weekend. You don’t just have to take time off at weekends or during the school holidays and there are still plenty of things to do in the area.

Take time to discover some beautiful historic cities, with Winchester, Portsmouth & Chichester on the doorstep, each unique, boasting extraordinary history and culture. If being out in the countryside is more your thing, you can discover the stunning scenery of the Meon Valley and South Downs locally, or a bit further afield, wonderful walks in the New Forest.
