We have many guests who have come here mid-week to get away from it all for a few days and explore a new area without the hustle and bustle of the weekend. You don’t just have to take time off at weekends or during the school holidays and there are still plenty of things to do in the area.

Take time to discover some beautiful historic cities, with Winchester, Portsmouth & Chichester on the doorstep, each unique, boasting extraordinary history and culture. If being out in the countryside is more your thing, you can discover the stunning scenery of the Meon Valley and South Downs locally, or a bit further afield, wonderful walks in the New Forest.

If you’re looking for more information as to what’s on in the area, take a look at out What’s On in October post with plenty to fill a few days away, whether it needs to be more indoors or you’re lucky to get some great weather and can spend more time outdoors.
