Visitors are welcome weekdays after 10am at this 18 hole course throughout the year. Set on a ridge above the Meon Valley the course enjoys stunning views across the hills, valleys and woodland. There is a discount rate for a four ball and dress codes must be observed.

Deanwood Park Golf Club

(41 miles)

A 9 hole course where visitors are welcome throughout the year. It is advisable to book a tee off time particularly at weekends. There is also a driving range. Discounts available for a four ball and dress code must be observed.

Meon Valley Golf Club

(7 miles)

An 18 hole championship course cuts through an ancient English oak forest with natural water hazards at the Marriott Hotel and Country Club. There is also a 9 hole course, driving range and putting green. Booking is necessary, either online or by telephone.

Petersfield Golf Club

(15.5 miles)

Visitors are welcome to play this 18 hole course which is set in 200 acres of Hampshire countryside and woodland. To play, call the pro shop to book a tee off time. There is a four ball discount.

Sandford Springs Golf Course

(45 miles)

Set among the rolling hills of Watership Down, this course has a unique 27 holes layout, comprising a trio of testing nine hole circuits: The Park; The Woods and The Lakes. There is also a driving range and well-stocked golf shop.

South Petersfield Golf Course

Originally the home of the Petersfield Golf Club until it was relocated north of the town in 1997. This 12 hole course is a very popular pay-and-play course where booking is advisable.

South Winchester Golf Club

Set around 6 lakes is an 18 hole course, driving range, putting green, short game area and a golf shop. Visitors can play at any time Monday to Friday and after midday at weekends. Discount rate for a four ball, lessons available and bookable up to 7 days ahead.

Swanmore Golf Club

(6 miles)

With views along the Meon Valley, this 9 hole course will provide a challenge for players of every ability, there is also 10 bay driving range with a practice bunker and putting green and shop. It is also possible to hire clubs.

Waterlooville Golf Club

(9 miles)

This 18 hole course was designed by the great Henry Cotton and has had over £million of improvements including drainage and hospitality since 2007. Visitors are welcome Monday to Friday and weekends subject to availability, call to book in advance.

Wickham Park Golf Club

(8.5 miles)

Established in 1997, this 18 hole course in the lower reaches of the Meon Valley, has a driving range and short game area and has a relaxed clubhouse. Booking by phone is advisable and equipment can be hired.
