What’s On: January 2020

With Christmas and all the busyness that comes with it over, January can be a good month for reflection and some cold crisp outdoor walks, if the weather permits. If not, there’s plenty of indoor events going on around the county.

The Natural History of Selborne, Gilbert White’s pioneering work, is often quoted as being the fourth most published book in the English language, however it is not just published in English, readers from all over the world have also read White from China to Sweden.

See the Mill in a new light this January! The Whitchurch Silk Mill and its gardens in the heart of rural Hampshire will glisten and sparkle this January with an all new magical, after dark illuminated trail. The Mill will be transformed by spectacular installations, leaving the dark winter evenings aglow.
