With Christmas rapidly approaching, most people’s minds are now on shopping for the big day. There are plenty of shopping opportunities around Hampshire at the fantastic Christmas markets, and you can find more details about the markets here. Alongside the markets are ice rinks in Winchester, Southampton and Portsmouth all open into the new year.
If you’re looking for some festive days out that don’t involve shopping, there are many Christmas themed events at some of the beautiful houses in the area, plus some festive events for children.
Christmas House tickets
Throughout December you can visit the house which has been beautifully decorated for Christmas and rediscover the classic tales of Aesop’s Fables. Tickets need to be bought in advance.
Also at Hinton Ampner are Christmas Chamber Choir Carols on 9 December and a New Year’s Day walk.
