The walks in the South Downs National Park from your doorstep when you stay with us at Wallops Wood have just been published.

We have laminated these for each cottage, you will find them on the small tables near the entrance or the chests of drawers.  However here is a link for you to download them now and plan your visit with us.  Walks for everyone at Wallops Wood

We have 7 walks from 30 mins to 40 mins, 1 hour and 2 hours. There is something for everyone, from novice walkers to more experienced walkers, with a variety of routes that give you fresh air, spectacular views, wildlife watching aplenty and just enjoying the quiet and peace.

Some of these walks can be taken as a cycling route, but for cycling routes we have a large number of leaflets in the office or the cottages for you to plan your treks. Just ask us!

Some of the walks encompass lanes or roads, therefore they can be enjoyed by accessible guests too.

Walks in and around our cottages are spectacular it must be said. I particularly like the walks at sunrise or sunset, because the views over the Meon Valley are breathtaking.

If you check out our Walking Page on the website, you will see that you can also visit a number of pages we have shared with you. There is a variety of walks offered from the Meon Valley trail PDF to download  to Hampshire Trails too, so please do go and browse.

You might also like to walk down to Hambledon Vineyard, just down the hill from us and our closest neighbours. They are an award winning English vineyard with stunning English Fizz! They have just finished their 2018 harvest, which by all accounts, due to our amazingly long and hot summer, might happen to be a record one as well as the best taste bomb ever!
