It may still be January, but it won’t be long before the days draw out and we’re thinking ahead to the Easter holidays. It’s a great time to get away for a few days and spend time outside enjoying the longer days and looking out for the signs of spring 🌷🐣
Wallops Wood is situated in the heart of the countryside, perfect for peace and tranquillity but there’s still plenty to do within a short drive. Our cottages and woodland houses are comfortable and spacious and make a fantastic retreat for family gatherings.
Multi-Generational Accommodation

Our accommodation has been designed so that all family members enjoy their stay, from the youngest to the oldest members of the family – and not forgetting the dog! This makes our accommodation perfect for larger family gatherings and get togethers. Our accommodation is spacious and includes oak floors with underfloor heating and a wood burner in each cottage and house. Each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom or wet room. For family members who need a bit of extra help, accessibility is built in to the design of all our accommodation. Additional accessible equipment is available on request and you can find out more on our Accessibility page.
For the youngest family members we can also provide additional equipment to make life easier such as high chairs, travel cots, sterilisers, walkers and buggies. Find out more about what we provide for families on our Families page.
Dogs also get their own welcome pack, saving you bringing bowls and beds. Find out more about bringing your dog to Wallops Wood on our Dogs page.
Along with the interior comfort and equipment provided, each cottage has its own garden and patio area with a hot tub. Perfect for relaxation and watching the sun go down or stargazing with a glass of bubbly!

Walks
We’re very fortunate to be situated in beautiful South Downs countryside which means there are plenty of walks you can take from the doorstep of your cottage.
Walks vary from short (around 30 minutes), to longer walks which can also take in a drink or lunch at one of our local dog friendly pubs.
If it’s particularly muddy, we have outside taps with warm and cold water where you can wash your dog before returning back to your cottage.
You can find out more about local walks here.
