A plant based raw food pop-up from international Chef Deborah Durrant creator of Deliciously Raw at Wallops Wood Cottages!

This is a not for profit event – Hampshire farmers and producers are sponsoring the food and Wallops Wood is offering all the admin, advertising, marketing and hospitality.

During the Hampshire Fare Food Festival in July Wallops Wood and Hambledon Vineyards are offering a pop-up first for Hampshire!

Enjoy a 5 course gourmet plant based Raw Cuisine lunch or dinner right here at Wallops Wood Cottages in our beautiful Silver Birch Cottage.

Titillate your taste buds with layers of delectable Hampshire grown vegetables, herbs and fruit along with garlic from The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight accompanied by lush tomatoes also from the island! Hill Farm Juice our local grower of gorgeous apples is offering the juice to accompany the meal as well!

These ‘uncooked’  ingredients and many will be accompanied by award-winning Hambledon sparkling wine which is a vegan wine!

We cannot accept cancellations for this event, however before the 21st June at 12 o’clock/lunchtime, we will endeavour to find a replacement for you but a £5.00 administration charge will be taken per ticket if we do re-sell the ticket. Due to the nature of the event and the freshness of the food we are unable to send back produce! Thank you for your understanding.

Summer Feast plant based menu at Wallops Wood Cottages

Diners will enjoy produce grown by Hampshire farmers, an extravaganza of fresh, lush vegetables, delectable herbs and mouth watering fruit in a 5 course menu that is as inventive as it is unusual. Delicious food prepared in an innovative way where taste, smell and looks are at the forefront of the tasting experience. Check out the menu HERE

  • Hambledon Vineyard is offering their 3 iconic and internationally recognised, award winning sparkling wines for your to enjoy. Katrina Smith DipWSET, Certified Educator and Tour and Education Manager will present each wine, the taste profiles and how each is made along with brief information about the vineyard
  • The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight is offering its garlic for Deborah to present as an adjunct to her delicious menu
  • The Tomato Stall on the IOW is offering their gorgeous tomatoes and will be the hero dish in the second course with a Carpaccio and consomme !
  • The beautiful South Downs Water is offering their sparkly clean South Downs filtered water to quench our thirst!
  • Amazing mushrooms from New Forest Mushrooms throughout the menu giving an umami flavour bomb.
  • Amber nectar from Moonroast Coffee  will be in your dessert as a cold brew reduction!
  • Apple juice offered by Hill Farm Juice, freshly squished right here in the Meon Valley!
  • Other locally grown produce from oru gardens and our hedgerow

More information on Deborah Durrant of Deliciously raw

Deborah trained at the Matthew Kenney Culinary Academy in Santa Monica California and the renowned Demuths Vegetarian Cookery School in Bath and holds a Diploma in Advanced Raw and Living Cuisine and Advanced Vegan Cookery. Deborah also holds a Certificate in Patisserie from Ashburton Cookery School.

Chef Deborah is one of the very few people in the world to have completed Matthew’s Professional Applications programme. Often hailed as one of the world’s leading plant-based chefs who is working with Michelin starred restaurants from Japan to Dubai and Paris. Matthew Kenney Cuisine now operates plant-based restaurants in 10 cities internationally. Deborah worked at one of Matthew restaurants in Maine after her training and she can proudly say that she has trained with the best.

For just one month, Hampshire’s renowned festival will offer over 100 events. July’s Hampshire Food Festival will deliver an amazing flavoursome line up of events and experiences – heaven for food lovers!

In its nineteenth year, this popular festival has something for everyone. From high end elegant raw food pop-ups to farm visits; vineyard tours; cookery masterclasses; pop-up dinners; tasting events; distillery and brewery tours; artisan markets and more.

The festival is THE place to explore  Hampshire’s food and wine and produce with a stellar line-up of award winning artisans. Proud to be Hampshire’s finest chefs, farmers and producers.
