Our Sauna Has Re-Opened

The sauna, which you’ll find in our swimming pool complex has finally re-opened 😃 Having had to close it due to Covid, it’s great that guests can now use it again. 

The sauna, which is infrared, can be enjoyed as part of your daily swim session which is booked in advance. Please use the boards at the entrance to the pool complex to book your daily 45 minute swim session and make sure you make full use of all the facilities while you’re there! 

Perfect for Relaxation

For most of our guests, taking a sauna while they’re staying here is a bit of a luxury. There’s nothing better than sitting in the heat after a swim, relaxing and taking it easy. The health benefits are another plus: cardiovascular health, improved circulation, helps relax muscles and can improve joint health. Taking a sauna can also help to reduce stress and improve wellbeing, so that’s even more good reason to make the most of our pool facilities and enjoy the sauna afterwards. Don’t forget that you’ll have it all to yourself during your 45 minute swim slot!

Please ensure you follow the guidelines before using the sauna. Instructions as to how to use the sauna can be found outside the sauna.

A Good Night’s Sleep

Many of our guests comment on how well they sleep when they stay at Wallops Wood. It’s not just our comfortable beds either – some guests have even asked us for the details of our mattresses and pillows saying they’re the most comfortable beds they’ve ever slept in! Being surrounded by the peace and quiet of the countryside as well as being immersed in the nature of the South Downs adds to our guests relaxation, helping them to wind down and de-stress from their busy lives.

Taking a swim and sauna also helps our guests to wind down. A swim followed by relaxation in the jacuzzi and sauna is a great way to forget your worries and clear your head!
