In our final blog on local suppliers taking part in our pop-up food event taking place today and tomorrow, we want to introduce you to Moonroast Coffee.
Moonroast Coffee is a family business established in 2014 by the Bradshaw family. The Bradshaws have specialised in the coffee and tea trades for four generations and more than a hundred years, so coffee is almost running in their veins! You can find out more about the family history here.
Francis Bradshaw has created an artisan roastery near Alresford making small batch, slow roasted coffee with beans sourced from the best smallholders in the world. Francis’ father, Haydon Bradshaw, one of Britain’s top coffee tasters, still brings his expertise to Moonroast’s speciality coffee journey.

Moonroast create their own blends as well as crafting single origin coffees, each with their own roasting and flavour profile for retail as well as wholesale. The coffee beans are sourced from smallholders in South America, Africa and Indonesia which allows Moonroast not only to offer coffee flavours to suit all tastes but support small scale farmers around the world.

We’re thrilled that Moonroast are supplying coffee for our Hampshire Summer Feast, taking place this week. The coffee is featuring at the end of what promises to be an amazing five course taste sensation! Moonroast are supplying the coffee for a cold brew reduction which will accompany the Berry Madness desert. You can view the entire menu here.
