One of the regular requests we receive is for guests to be able to get together in a large group with friends and family. We love seeing groups of friends and families celebrate together, and we can accommodate large groups by booking several cottages or woodland houses together depending on the size of your party.
Facilities
As well as booking multiple accommodation, we can also arrange for you to dine together in one of your cottages or houses with additional tables and chairs. If your get together is for a special birthday or anniversary, we can help you to arrange caterers and florists and recommend other businesses who may be able to help you arrange the perfect party! Just get in touch and let us know your needs and we’ll do our best to help.
Most of our accommodation is accessible and ideal for multi-generation get togethers. Dogs are also welcome in all of our accommodation.
With an indoor pool for you to have to yourselves when you book your swim slot, to a convenient on site shop with pre-prepared meals and other goodies, not forgetting the beautiful countryside that surrounds us, Wallops Wood is the perfect place for that all important celebration or get together.
Cottages
The cottages that can be booked together for large groups include:
Glenhunter (Glenside and Hedgehunter). These two cottages next door to each other (no connecting door) can accommodate up to 14 people in 7 bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom/shower. The extendable dining table can seat up to 12 with an additional dining table available for extra seating. The cottages are dog friendly and have their own enclosed garden, ideal for a run around. Silver Mist (Silver Birch and Early Mist). These two cottages opposite each other can accommodate up to 16 in 8 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms/shower rooms. There are two extendable dining tables in Silver Birch seating up to 8 each. With additional tables available on request you can seat up to 30 guests in the large dining area. The kitchen in Silver Birch is very large with two ovens, capable of preparing meals for large numbers. Both cottages are dog friendly and Silver Birch is accessible with two accessible wet rooms. Silver Mist Glen (Silver Birch, Early Mist and Glenside). For even larger groups, Silver Mist Glen can accommodate up to 22 guests in 11 bedrooms between them. Silver Birch and Early Mist both have 4 double/twin bedrooms and Glenside has 3 bedrooms. All three cottages have their own hot tub. As with Silver Mist, Silver Birch has the largest dining area which can seat up to 30 guests and a large kitchen area to prepare meals for large groups of guests to eat together. Woodland Houses at Grenville
The woodland houses that can be booked together are:
Portuguese Lemon (Portuguese Laurel and Sicilian Lemon). These houses booked together sleep up to 16 people, 10 in Sicilian Lemon and 6 in Portuguese Laurel. The dining area in Sicilian Lemon can seat up to 10 people with an additional dining table available for further seating. The large fully equipped kitchen is perfect for preparing meals for getting together in the evenings. There are two en-suite wet rooms with the downstairs bedrooms in Sicilian Lemon, perfect for accessible guests. Portuguese Laurel is also ideal for accommodating accessible guests with ground floor accommodation and a huge accessible wet room. Both houses are dog friendly. Sicilian Pine (Sicilian Lemon and Scots Pine). These two woodland houses booked together can sleep up to 20 people, 10 people in each house between 5 double/twin bedrooms each, all with en-suite bathrooms/shower rooms. The kitchen areas are perfect for catering for large numbers and additional dining tables/seating can be arranged for you. Both houses are accessible and dog friendly and have decking areas where you can sit outside in the warmer months, as well as their own hot tub for relaxing.
