Family Friendly Days Out

With the school holidays over, now’s the time for families with pre-school age children to visit Wallops Wood! There’s still plenty going on and lots to do in the area if you have young children. Here’s a selection of some of the local attractions for a family day out.

Paultons Park
Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park is hugely popular, and just a short drive from Wallops Wood. Marwell Zoo
Another popular family friendly day out close to Wallops Wood is Marwell Zoo. With hundreds of animals including giraffes and penguins, a train, adventure playgrounds and daily animal feeds, there’s plenty to occupy the whole family.

Bluereef Aquarium
Bluereef Aquarium is located in Southsea with lots of fascinating sea life. From sharks to clownfish, jellyfish to otters, there’s plenty to see. Take in the colourful and exotic inhabitants of the coral reef in our spectacular underwater tunnel and come face to face with the wonders of the aquatic world. An educational day out for the whole family!
