We love dogs and understand that they’re as much a part of the family as everyone else. That’s why when we set up our cottages, being able to accommodate dogs was a big part of our plan to make sure that your dog enjoys the holiday as much as you do. All breeds are welcome no matter what size or shape!
We think we’ve covered everything that you may need for your dog when you come and stay here and there’s plenty of information on our dogs page. Not all our guests have pets so, for the benefit of everyone staying at the cottages, we ask that you follow the Dog Rules, which include ensuring your dog is treated from worms and fleas before you arrive, you scoop the poop and don’t allow them in the bedrooms and on the beds.
So onto the fun stuff! On arrival your dog will have its own welcome pack which includes dog biscuits, a complimentary toy, holiday tag to attach to your dog’s collar just in case he escapes, blankets, sofa throws and towels.
In addition, we provide:
* Dogs thermostatically controlled shower for cleaning when they come back from muddy walks
* A list of pubs that are dog friendly
* Individual gardens are closed off
* A larger lawn area is accessible to all dogs and also enclosed
* Amazing walks around the cottages with walks on laminated cards
* A range of equipment available for dogs (e.g dog cage, dog bowls)

Hannah Carpenter is the local dog walker we now use. Hannah will pick your dog up from the cottages if you need her services. One of our guests recently used Hannah’s services for her little dachshund called Natasha, and took her out on walks and even down to Hayling Island! Hannah also has her own dog, a Doberman called Heidi.

We think you’re really going to enjoy staying with your dog at Wallops Wood. There are hundreds of walks and paths to explore in the South Downs, New Forest and beyond, along with numerous dog friendly attractions and beaches.
