Crafting, Photography and Writing Retreats

Are you a writing or crafting tutor looking for a special place to inspire your students?

Searching for a beautiful location in the South to hold felting, crochet or knitting workshops at a retreat for yarn lovers?

Or perhaps you're a photographer hunting for a countryside environment with farming landscapes, big skies and abundant wildlife to teach photographic techniques and stimulate creativity?

Join us in the beautiful Meon Valley, Hampshire, to stay in our contemporary cottages which are surrounded by idyllic countryside in the South Downs National Park. As a creative writing teacher, crafting tutor, photographer or life coach, you will find that our facilities are perfect for your retreat.

We can accommodate up to 54 people. Each of our eight cottages sleep 4, 6 or 8 people and bedrooms can be set up as twin or double rooms. Seven cottages have ensuite bedrooms and have large doors and ground floor open plan living areas so that they are accessible for wheelchair users.

These open-plan living and dining areas are wonderful social places to relax and enjoy what's on offer at the retreat. We can configure tables so that your students have enough space for their writing, crochet, felting or paper crafts and they can sit comfortably in our sofas or armchairs.

Our kitchens are extremely well appointed with all pans, cutlery and cooking utensils provided with tea towels and washing up liquid as well as dishwasher tablets. Food can be delivered by all the major supermarkets right to your door and we can recommend local catering companies including a vegan chef if you prefer.

Comfortable and cosy with wood burners, our cottages are underfloor heated. Each has its own hot tub with either an enclosed garden or courtyard. AND there is a beautiful heated indoor pool with accessible hoists, a jacuzzi and an infrared sauna.

Complimentary WIFI is high-speed fibre broadband and is perfect for those all important postings on social media!

A welcome basket is placed in every cottage for your arrival and includes local drinks and food. You can also talk to us about organising a variety of artisan-led experiences, producer visits, outdoor pursuits or walks.
