We would like to reassure our guests that Wallops Wood Cottages is open for business as normal and our usual Terms and Conditions apply.
Our cottages are cleaned to an exemplary standard; guests often comment that our properties are “immaculate”. In addition to regular hand-washing, thoroughly cleaning each property after occupancy and communal areas, we have implemented the following measures:
- Stronger, antibacterial/viral cleaning products are now being used
- Our housekeeping team is paying extra attention to all surfaces, counter-tops, light pulls and switches, door handles and touch points which will be thoroughly cleaned
- Housekeeping staff always wear gloves to clean our properties
- In these extenuating circumstances non-essential soft furnishings like throws and cushions have been removed from the cottages to avoid any likelihood of contamination
Swimming Pool and Hot tubs:
There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs.
We carefully sanitise the water in the swimming pool, jacuzzi and hot tubs with bromine. And the swimming pool and jacuzzi water is constantly UV filtered to ensure any remaining bacteria and viruses are killed. We empty the hot tubs, thoroughly clean and refill them between occupancies. And regular checks are made on the water filtration system.
As a courtesy to other guests and staff, we respectfully request that guests do not travel to Wallops Wood Cottages if they feel unwell, as per government guidelines.
