Guests love bringing their dogs to Wallops Wood. Our cottages are very dog friendly and since dogs are such a big part of the family, they deserve to come on holiday too! So as a special offer to our guests, you can bring one dog for free in November & December.
There’s plenty of great walks in the South Downs and further afield in Hampshire, so lots of new places to explore that your pooch will love. You can find out more about dog friendly walks and days out here, as well as a number of walks you can take directly from your cottage. With plenty of pubs in the area, there’s plenty of opportunity for a welcome drink along the way too.
On arrival at Wallops Wood your dog is also treated to his own welcome pack! This includes complimentary toy to take home, tasty treats, holiday dog tag, a blanket and sofa throw to use to protect the furniture, dog bed to use, dog bowls, towels and poop bags. This also means you don’t have to remember to bring all your dog’s stuff as well as your own. We also have a hot tap outside that you can use to wash your dog in warm water after a muddy walk! We can also supply additional equipment if needed and a list can be downloaded here.
All we ask is that you follow our Dog Rules and respect other guests staying at Wallops Wood who do not have dogs.
