We have welcomed many families over the years to Wallops Wood, and made our cottages as family friendly as possible. The families who stay here enjoy the spacious accommodation and enclosed gardens, plus we can supply all sorts of equipment, games and toys to save them bringing everything they may need for their stay.

Many Attractions in the Area
Term time holidays for pre-schoolers and mid-week breaks are a great time to stay as it’s quieter here and the many attractions in the area are a lot less busy!
Some of the attractions to visit include Peppa Pig World at Paultons Park (particularly popular!), Marwell Zoo, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard and Blue Reef Aquarium all of which young children adore! 🤩
Beautiful Countryside
If you don’t want to travel far and just get out into the countryside, there are plenty of wonderful walks to take in the area without even needing the car. Laminated cards with local walks are provided in each cottage for you to use. Please ask if you have any questions about getting out into the local area.
We’re surrounded by the beautiful South Downs countryside with plenty of open space and nature to enjoy, therefore, we’re perfectly placed for families being in such wonderful surroundings. And with plenty to do in the area, there’s lots to keep the little ones occupied during their stay!
