A Cosy Welcome for Guests at Wallops Wood

Autumn can be a wonderful time to get away from it all for a short break, even if the weather is turning cooler. There are plenty of brisk walks you can take in the area, houses and gardens to visit, cafés and pubs for refreshment. Come back to the cottages after a day out and be greeted with warmth and cosiness!

Our Cosiness Features

When the cottages were constructed, good insulation was a key part of the build to ensure energy isn’t wasted, and the warmth stays inside! Other warming features include underfloor heating beneath oak floors throughout and wood burning stoves in each cottage.

The wood burners are particularly popular when the weather gets chillier. They make a huge difference to the cosiness and with plenty of wood supplied you can enjoy cosy fireside evenings with your loved ones. The underfloor heating and wood burners are also popular with our doggie guests too!

Each garden has a warming bubbly hot tub which is perfect for keeping comfy under the night sky and stargazing in the South Downs International Dark Sky Reserve.

A break at Wallops Wood is great at any time of the year, we’ve all the facilities you need whether staying in warmer or cooler weather. Don’t forget you can book farmhouse meals if you want an evening free of cooking and all supermarkets deliver to the cottages.
